Despite the great social vibe of this hostel, I would not stay here again because of the poor quality rooms. Because o

The location. The staff. The library common area. The rooftop. The shared bathrooms with lots of hot water. The wifi. The air conditioning. The free city walking tour (the guide was wonderful).

The rooms. The small double rooms are very small…..but that’s ok. The problem either the small double rooms is the dampness. For example we hung a hat on a wall hook, so the hat was touching the wall. The hat was very very wet by the morning. The outside of my bavkpack (it was not touching the wall), was damp. My clothes that I had folded on the wall shelf for the night, were damp. The bed sheets felt damp. The 1st room we were offered was Room #410. It was uninhabitable because it was so damp. The plaster had fallen off the walls because of the dampness, we couldn’t breathe because of the mildew and mold in the air. And just to be clear, we do not have any allergies or sensitivities to anything. They had a dehumidifier in the room as well as the air conditioner. I asked to change rooms immediately, and they were able to move us to a less damp room that we could breathe in. If they hadn’t been able to, I would have left despite having already paid for 3 nights. Do not let them put you in Room # 410. It is SERIOUSLY uninhabitable.

Great view, very minimalistic room

Beautiful roof terrace, view over the old and new town. Great taco food. Downstairs a nice bakery. Good tours: walking tour, Embera tour, San Blas tour and Monkey Island tour. Pre a beautiful view at the town from our balcony.

The room is very minimalistic. Missing night stand on one side of the bed, very inconvenience. Complained about it multiple times, but nothing happened. No space to leave stuff, nor in the bed- or bathroom. Airconditioning panel on the wall, highly places, no chair or anything to reach it. Luckily my boyfriend is quite tall. But also very low brightness, hard to see the actual temperature. You need it, very hot and dampt inside. Hostel itself a big plus, the room a big minus. Maybe the more expensive private rooms are better.

I liked the terrace! The pool, the bed, the free yoga!

The kitchen is not equipped at all! Like there were 3dishes in total, no cups, no pans, no bowls.... literally nothing for cooking!

Overall a good experience, but not the best if you plan to sleep during a weekend.

The rooms are great, the place was good and the ambience and ground floor bar were awesome. Welcome drink and extra activities provided made it a great experience. Clean hotel either on public places and the dorms.

Not a good place to stay during the weekend if you actually plan to sleep. Friday and Saturday they had an electronic party at the rooftop up to 2am .. Was told at reception during the evening that towels were a $3 deposit and $2 rental cost, then at checkout during the morning was only given back $2 ... Should have all prices in a more public/visible way to avoid this kind of issues.

We had two different rooms (one standard room with sea view), nice room but really dirty Second room was on the other side of the building with window to the aisle and no window in the bathroom (full of mold). The furniture and walls are in a really bad condition. Really noisy.

Great hostel, but noisy till late

Location is great. Chill vibe in the place. The basics are good. The view from the Rooftop is amazing.

There is loud music till after midnight which you hear good from the rooms. The bedsheets were not all clean. The drinks in the lobby and restaurants were really expensive.
